B-learning and its application in university education in Ecuador

Abstract
The present investigation analyzes the application of the combined learning (B-learning) as a new pedagogical model in the university education of Ecuador. A non-experimental descriptive study was carried out on 80 students and 5 teachers of the eighth semester, a career in Multimedia Systems, faculty of Philosophy, University of Guayaquil, about the application of B-learning in academic activities. The result: 88.4% satisfaction level of the use of this model, 93% consider it a tool that allows to reinforce classroom activities. 92% think it saves time mobilization. 98.4% of teachers agree that their application contributes to improving the assimilation of content in students. Conclusion: The application of B-learning has a high level of acceptance among the university community, it has managed to improve communication in the classroom, the academic performance of students, it must be included in the curriculum of the career.
