Abstract

Art is conceived as an indispensable tool in the educational processes of children in their first years of life, it is important to highlight that their schooling occurs at younger ages and the appropriate development of the child is seen in gaming by introducing him/her to routines and rigid areas, which in many cases do not allow promoting his/her physical and emotional development, which as consequence, it might bring future implications for his/her personality. Art plays a fundamental role if it is worked hand by hand with education, since more consistent and creative processes are obtained. Artistic expressions are taken as the first communicative manifestation of boys and girls, creating an open dialogue way with their environment, moreover giving way to exploration, manipulation of objects and textures, the manifestation of their emotions and awareness of processes in a pleasant space.


For this dissertation, the qualitative research modality with an action-participation approach is taken into account, taking as a population the students of the grade building a kindergarten in Zipaquirá, where the observation and analysis of the attitudes which can be taken from the various activities proposed in the classroom based on the data collection instruments taken. One of these are the workshops, in which an artistic development process is carried out to obtain creative products, which are analyzed through observation, showing the impact that these activities create in early childhood and in cognitive processes.
